Chapter 11

EMBRACING THE SILENCE OF NOT KNOWING ENTERING THE FERTILE VOID

This chapter talked to myself because I practice the silent to full experience what I’m hearing. But sometimes I go into an extreme that for not talking or for not transmit what I’m hearing I am loosing also that experience. Some tips that Susan makes in this chapter I consider that can be very useful are make a pause before talking to analyze what you are going to say. Other recommendation that she makes is to use the Quaker system. This is described more open in the book Let your life speak that is also commented in this blog.

The truth skill # 10 is about embrace silent. Sometimes we asked a question but if we have a bit of time we also have the time to reflect on that question and to answer it.  Sometimes we didn’t want that silent because we wanted to demonstrate what we know. But sometimes affirm that we don’t know make us learn more than if we want to demonstrate that we know something we do.

“Human communication is an alive, ever-changing creation — it is created, re-created, and concreted in each moment. And creation requires patience: the ability to tolerate emptiness.”

This patience is the one that we have to be aware of take control of it.
