Chapter 8

REVISING AN EARLIER STATEMENT IT′S OKAY TO GO OUT AND COME IN AGAIN

In this chapter Susan described how is “Getting Real” about being imperfectly honest with others and how when you say what you feel and you expressed yourself as who you are you can realize that your feelings can change or you can start seeing things very different. The story that introduce this chapter is one of my favorite stories because I think that many people that are dating with someone at first try to project that he or she didn’t have interest in the other or try to project things that the person didn’t are. I love the way Susan propose the situation in which Cheryl called Sam to said to him what are her feelings from him. This type of situations would help everyone to being more who we really are and to find a couple that is really interested in what we want instead of loose time trying to prove the others what we really don’t are.

Susan mention how “Fear in most cases is simply a sign that you′re moving into unknown territory, not a signal to turn back. Unknown territory is the domain of discovery and the breeding ground for self-trust.” This is something that we need to have in minded every day to don’t make excuses and take responsibilities of what we have to do for living a good quality of life not only in material things but also with our personal relations and our spirituality or relation with God.
